How to Re-Wear a Green Blazer for Fall

Episode 5, of Nothing2Wear’s The Two-Minute Outfit, highlights how to style a forest green blazer with midnight navy, accessorized with turquoise and earth-toned Fall accessories. Having worn the Gap pique green blazer previously, re-stylist Catenya McHenry shows you another way to wear the blazer and how to transition the look from Summer to Fall or work to weekend.

Style Tip: When getting dressed, start with a foundation and a basic piece, then build your look from there. Today it was the forest green Gap pique blazer. Another day, it could be a pair of shoes, a handbag or a scarf.

Style Evolution: I wore the same blazer in summer months with shark gray trousers. Another way to wear it and transition from Summer to Fall, is to add darker hues. Midnight navy J. Crew trousers pair beautifully with any shade of green, whether kelly green, forest or hunter green.

Underneath, wear a tank or any white tee and then accessorize. Choose statement necklaces in earthy hues, like latte, expresso brown and cappuccino.(yes, I love coffee!) 🙂  Add a gold bangle on one arm and a pop of color on the other. Simple bracelets in red, turquoise or eggplant purple pair well.

Work to Weekend: Transition from work to weekend with a crop denim jacket. EASY! Oh, and POP the collar!

You can also ditch the jacket altogether.
