A statement belt can do so many things for you and your waist. Whether skinny or not, a belt can add definition to your waist creating a beautiful silhouette. I love chic accessories that tell a stand alone story. This one came from my friend, Heather’s closet. The belt’s cut-outs are trendy, making it office and Saturday -friendly. Today we paired it with a Blue-faced yarn wrap sweater that Heather knitted herself (more to come from her designer sewing room). The belt is cinched around her sweater and then styled coupling her dress. If an accessory catches your eye while shopping, buy it. You can figure out later what to wear it with. You can’t leave one-of-a kind pieces in the boutique. That would be cruel!
