She’s never missed a day of work in 26 years (including weekends). Margie DeKoster and her son are still running the family owned business, My Doll’s House in Torrance, California. Together, they design, build and style elaborate dollhouses for Hollywood heavy- hitters in film, television and more.
Former First Lady Barbara Bush, actress Patricia Arquette and even Steven Spielberg are on their elite list of clientele. Margie and her son are continuing to craft a piece of history by customizing dream houses into miniature works of art. Some say building dollhouses is a dying art form but Marjorie says as long as clients keep buying, they will keep building.
