There weren’t many wardrobe choices growing up attending Catholic school. Plaid or plain, white oxford or golf shirt and patent leather Mary Jane’s, limited a girl’s wardrobe. The Nuns were occasionally on trend in black and white but that same look everyday could make some would- be fashionistas want to break the habit.
One of the reasons I love public school is all the creativity you see in the classroom, teachers included.
Julie’s school style is the exact opposite of a uniform. Monochrome black and white are classic pieces that are always fab fashion choices, even for Nuns. But this middle school teacher took her look a step further by pairing a crop gray animal print cardigan. Juxtaposing lengths of your tops creates interesting visuals. Julie is petite so pairing a tunic with a cropped cardigan can actually make you look taller. Skinny jeans are a must to pull of the supermodel stature.
What’s that? White skinny’s you say? ABSOLUTELY! I’ve yet to find the unhappy woman who said wearing white after Labor Day was a big mistake. Who is this woman? She probably was on her period at the time. Until we hunt her down, keep legging into those white skinny’s, slipping into those LWD, crisp white blazers and pencil skirts. The white shoes though, can stay in the dark.
